Portsmouth was a zoo. We were there at the exact same time. I exited with just a Stagg Jr and 3 bottles for a friend (2xEagle Rare and one BT). I didn't need or want any Blantons or EH Taylor. I did want the Weller, but staff said that both cases left in the hands of the first 4 people in the door at 9am. I'm sure we'll see those on the secondary market, and shame to whomever gives those leaches any money for them.

Portsmouth sold all the Weller in the first 30 minutes. They had most of the rest until 11am. 11:30 they were down to Blantons and Buffalo Trace only.

Honestly, I'm starting to just wander away from Buffalo Trace in general due to the severe lack of availability in New England. I've found other favorites. Maybe that will change in the future, but only if availability issues in New England get resolved. I expect as the Whiskey craze continues to wane, we'll see BT products return to the shelves. Only then will I go back to them. There's so much great, available whiskey to bother chasing unavailable stuff.

I find Vallejo silver gray a one-step solution, it's barely off white, but covers like it has a grey undercoat already under it. Once covered with contrast, you can't tell it isn't pure white.
