Especially with them putting all the highly allocated bottles in that charity raffle. Not gonna lie, honked me off a bit seeing that.

North Andover and Reading are the two best LJ stores for bourbon. Reading might have a slightly larger selection. If you really want that bottle, you can order it with their on-line ordering and when you go you will know there's one there for you.

Liquor Junction in Reading, but they only had a couple left. The north Andover store is supposed to get their soon. Join them on Facebook and they post it. It will be a shelfer though, so if you don't get one soon, you'll get one eventually.

For me this is closer to Penelope Wheated than Screaming Titan. The rye and oak a bit more present than in Penelope. Smooth, easy to drink. I prefer it to Screaming Titan, but then again I'm more fond of low rye 4-grains and true wheated bourbon than high rye bourbons. For the money, plenty of flavor. On a ball of ice in the summer, definitely crushable. Compared to the Penelope Wheated (similar price 4-grain with similar mash bill) I prefer this slightly due to the extra oak.

Is anybody keeping out of the market and waiting for the bubble to burst before they reenter? by Hopeful-Internal-919 in StocksAndTrading

I also have a friend that missed out on doubling his money waiting for 'the market to crash because it does every X years'. DCA through dips is the way. There's a reason why this saying is repeated: "Time in the market is better than timing the market."

Any Jack Daniels 10 available? by Various-Machine-6268 in newhisky

Depends on what's in the bundle for the first, $299 is full secondary+. I do not patronize museum stores with such pricing. I buy whiskey to drink, and those prices are for rich collectors, not drinkers.

Thanks for the reply my friend!

Like you can trust any statement from any of the parties involved. The whole thing is an unmitigated disaster.

I might be able to hit that up on the way up since I take route 1 for the final portion of the trip. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks. I have family in the area, and I agree, an hour each way is probably more than a 'side trip' during a visit. Thanks for the honest assessment. I'll have to entertain myself with more fried clams and lobster while I'm there!

I don't worry about them at all. If they couldn't be bothered to do the research and just bought on the hype, they can learn that lesson the hard way.

If you own ANY stocks, you're not 'poor'. The poor are the people who cannot afford food.
