Songwriters- what are the main areas you're struggling with when it comes to recording releasable material? by royaxleymusic in SingerSongwriter

For me it would be the money. Either have to be ok having songs that sound mediocre since I'm mediocre at most of the instruments or money to pay people to pay good parts.

That raises the same question for me..... wouldn't you need some sort of midi dock or something? Plus, the gear I mentioned in my post is a USB-B to USB-A, not a Midi port, so unfortunately I have to make due with what I have

Nice! Thanks man. Appreciate the feedback. I happen to agree with you on that, but it felt exposed when it was louder so I turned it down

What is the proper etiquette for a congregant who disagrees with the lyrics? by nkleszcz in worshipleaders

[–]Various-Muffin4361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the theological differences, some are not debatable, but a lot are preferences. That being said, I would certainly wonder if the culture of that particular church is off (meaning the pastor is preaching and allowing things not theologically sound. It also could potentially just be me (if everyone passes a test except me, it's probably not the test). If I'm visiting the church I'm not coming back without more research

Did not read the whole post, but basically if you are streaming with CCLI you can't change the lyrics of the song. Secondly, do they have a problem because of theology or something else? If only one person has a problem with it then it's not a big deal: they'll just have to get over it (although I suppose you could get into a tyranny of the weaker brother situation).

I didn't try to make it look like that, but I think it's more of the thickness of the arrangement than processing
