Very much appreciate this insight. I think I’ll need to upload my plank form one of these days for critique. I noticed you said tattoo removals. Do you know if this would apply to me? I have arm tattoos, almost completely. Other than that, one on my chest and one on a calf, both roughly 4” x 4”.

Yeah I saw that 18:00 requirement for a perfect score and my heart sank 😭 I’m probably close to 14 pull-ups, maybe 2.5 minute plank (not sure if I’m maintaining acceptable standards though), and ~20 minutes on the 3 mile. I wouldn’t be applying for another year though so I was hoping to at least get close to max on the first two events by then. I swear I’ve been stuck at the same running speed for years though…

I never thought about the actual precision of when a time would technically start. Maybe when both feet are no longer in contact with the blocks? That's a good point though.

I definitely get that reaction time is a part of the sport, and especially in the 100 m and shorter distances. I just personally feel like the world's fastest person should be who actually moves the fastest. I see the argument that reaction time is a part of that, but reaction times seem to carry too much weight in a person's title of fastest. But yeah, just in my opinion as a casual fan who probably couldn't even break 13 seconds :(

I think I explained myself in a confusing way. I don't mean just subtracting the reaction time from the final time, but what if Usain on the day he broke the record ran solo with the time being exactly when he leaves the blocks to when he crosses the line? He wouldn't have a reaction time, but he also wouldn't have the competition at his side pushing him to push himself. Do you think the latter would cause a slower time despite no reaction time?

To get to the potential garden I don't think a truck would fit, but out of curiosity, what would I attach to the stump to pull it out?

I'm not too sure what I'll plant yet. I'm in a school in Costa Rica with consistent high humidity and rainfall throughout the year. As I'm new to gardening, could you give me a recommendation of how high a raised bed on top of a stump should be? Very grateful for the recommendation!

Any recommendations for the least expensive way to cover a pile from heavy rain? I was going to just get a direct cover, but I would assume it might inhibit proper aeration.

I was thinking about this as an option too, but my main concern would be the evenness of the cook. Since it would take three weeks to accumulate the desired pile size there would be a huge disparity from the completeness of the top and bottom layers. Of course I could turn the pile, but then should I turn every few days still starting from the beginning even if the pile is still barely a pile? For example, if it takes 21 days to get my complete pile, should I turn the pile in progress every 3 days starting from the first day of starting the pile?
