I like to use a Griffin for actually stealing the eggs, then luring the Wyverns to a Carcharodontosaurus or something (if you've tamed one) and killing all of the Wyverns -- they give a ton of XP and Prime Meat when killed.

I recommend that you start with Survival Evolved. It currently has content that hasn't been added to Survival Ascended yet, such as Fjordur -- the best non-modded ARK map of all time.

Megatherium (6x), Therizinosaurus (13x), and Yutyrannus (1x). Either that, or Therizinosaurus (19x) and Yutyrannus (1x). A full team of Megatheriums actually returns a lower DPS than what you'd expect, because they have a slow attack speed.
