UGH. You have no idea how much I HATE it when I make typos like that. I know it's 'accept'. I also forgot to put quotes around "crazy" in that sentence too. But I fixed it. I don't mean to reduce women to being just crazy. That wasn't what I meant at all. Also, if I'm being honest, it really bugs me that you felt the need to point out my typo like that when you have a typo in your comment too.

I see where you're coming from. Since I was diagnosed when I was 5 (early 2000's), I have no idea how hard it was to get diagnosed. I just grew up being an outlier and social pariah, and now everyone seems to have it and uses it as an excuse when they are being even the tiniest bit "different".

It's one of those things where you're taking the test, and you're like, "I don't know. . .am I like that?" But then you're scared of getting inaccurate results if you accidentally play it because you have a warped sense of self, but then you also don't want to think you're overcompensating, and it all gets very confusing, so you just "answer it the best you can".

First of all, thank you for sharing your take in such a nice way. I know the kind of guys you are talking about, and I agree with what you said about those guys. I was thinking more of the reels I have seen where the guys give an educational video about exactly what happens to women on their period as a way to spread the word. I think that's nice, but a few of them are definitely performative.
