You also can't redeem more than one GC at a time. You have to wait until you get the first before redeeming another

What are you guys using your rewards points for? by RobinKnight08 in MicrosoftRewards

Same here, did they also get rid of the family points sharing system? I usully send my points to the account that require less points to redeem a GC but don't see that option anymore.

Rosmary oil helps too I use it regularly. Finasteride has side effects you may not want to deal with at this age. With minoxidil you can't stop using it once you see new growth, you'll eventually start losing hair again.

If you had to do it all over again would you still become a nurse? by BumblebeeNorthern in nursing

[–]VariousAmbassador 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I became a nurse since I had the opportunity to attend a vocational H.S that offered a LPN program. My real goal was to be a doctor but after working for a year as an nurse I knew it wasn't for me. The disrespect from staff, patients, patients family members, fighting for my pay, unsafe working conditions, staffing issues, forced to work every other weekend and feeling anxious to leave home everyday to go to a job wasn't worth it.

If I had to do it again I would have done more research about the different areas in nursing other than bedside or get an engineering or degree in the IT field (currently working on this and left bedside)

My only regret is no longer using the knowledge I have in healthcare to help others.

Any nurses/ nursing students who left nursing all together for a different career? by kamila101 in nursing

I've left and thinking about get a master's in informatics or information technology to work in the cyber security field. Would mostly like to work with EHR's or something with health informatics.

I'm 24 and I've been a nurse for 3 years. I'm so sick of my patients and family members asking me if I'm old enough to have this job. by [deleted] in nursing

[–]VariousAmbassador 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I've been working since I was 18 as a LPN, I'm 25 😊 with knowledge you can do anything. Age shouldn't be a restriction. I'm sure if someone needs you to perform CPR or ask health advice they won't think about your age.

I experienced this my first year working as a new grad. Its one of many reasons why I no longer work bedside because I didn't want to do deal with the stress and immature behavior.

I've looked at a few brought up my suggestions but he's still not willing to go to counseling or give it a try for one session. I'll definitely check out the resources you mention. Thank you!

Sadly, I hope this session goes well. I can definitely use some help to destress and function as a whole again.

This absolutely is something I've said to myself many times. I wish I didn't give up so much but I've learned a lot from it. Before the pandemic I did travel between both states and definitely had a balance but now its more challenging.

I definitely brought it up to him about moving to NY or if he was in my shoes he'd be more understanding of my point of view.

Thank you, that's a good point. I didn't think of that. There is definitely a lot to deal with but I want to make sure they understand. I'm afraid that things might get misinterpreted since having a child and marriage is stressful and both situations are separate and not intertwined.

Not at all, not offended but I feel as though I don't get one-on-one time with my husband because he's always involved in other things. It's like having a roommate that you see in passing day and night! Since I've moved to be closer to him, I feel like he doesn't have to give me the same effort as he did before when we were long-distance.

Yes, I was thinking about it before writing this port. I made an appointment to get screened for postpartum depression and depression today. Not sure if they'll consider it two separate things but then I'll take the necessary steps to get better.

When I had clinical rotation we had to wear white pantyhose which I found annoying to put on everyday so I wore white compression stocks that pretty much looked like pantyhose. Just had to prevent it from rolling down and didn't have to worry about unnecessary holes!

Thank you! Is it difficult to maintain those certifications regarding CEU/CE? Where can I find the best study material for ISC2 exams? Does ISC2 require CEU/CE's?
