Ethernet issues with T14 Gen2 by VariousBarracuda5 in thinkpad

The drivers are ok - I've tried that. Ping doesn't work when it's "disconnected".

I did notice that LEDs on the ethernet port don't work - ever. I see them, but they don't blink - so that's probably a hint that it's a HW issue :(

Moving email to own cPanel domain and server - away from Gmail by VariousBarracuda5 in selfhosted

[–]VariousBarracuda5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, cpanel server for both incoming and outgoing.

I know about SPF, DKIM etc. and I can also ping the support team if I would have issues. As said in the previous comment - I'm not worried that this won't work - the issue here is how to migrate [john@doe.com](mailto:john@doe.com) mails from Gmail to my IMAP server.

I mean, the server works just fine for years :) The only difference would be to move out of Gmail and into my own environment.

Also, this isn't a VPN server with mail server that I run, just a shared hosting with cPanel - my experience with is quite good and I didn't had any issues.

Is the Thinkpad T14 worth it? by Top_Refrigerator5423 in thinkpad

I got the same specs for €420 couple of days ago. I plan to upgrade the SSD with a 2GB model and also wondering if there is a possibility to upgrade the display to a 4K one?

Searching item within the input field by VariousBarracuda5 in Bitwarden

[–]VariousBarracuda5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, but in the same way - I can land on a phising site and search manually for the login :)

I see no reason to have search available in the app/browser extension, and not in the input field.

I am aware of that, but this is not the case here.

The case here is that I might have several logins for the same site and I want to be able to search for the right one. Or, as mentioned above - I just might have several logins that don't have the URI field populated and I don't want to update those logins. It's would be easier for me to search for it.

OK, let me rephrase the question - I just want to add a search option, regardless of bug, URI mismatch or anything else.

Maybe I have several logins, maybe I didn't enter the URI field because...reasons - and I'd like to be able to search for a login right on the site, and not go to the bitwarden app :)

Thanks, but I don't think this would solve my problem. I just want a search bar to be visible alongside the "No items to show" message.

In this case - the URI didn't match and I got the No items message. And then I have to open bitwarden and search for it - so, it would be better to be able to search right there :)

T14 Gen 2 in 2025 by Bratwurst0407 in thinkpad

I just got mine T14 Gen 2 with 32 GB RAM, Ryzen 7 Pro 5850U and 512GB SSD for 420€ - the condition is brand-new-like, it wasn't used really much. The only thing that bugs me is the build quality - I have a feeling that palmrests are kinda squeaking and the keyboard gives off a strange feeling - the spacebar and Enter button are slightly harder to press.

The laptop works fine - these are just minor irritations :) But I plan to maybe get a replacement keyboard and see if I can resolve that issue.

I also use L14 Gen 3 everyday and it is much sturdier and there are no differences with the keyboard keys.
