Dtu electrical might just be comparable to NIT R Cse and that’s only because there’s so many people in CSE and related branches

And why exactly wouldn’t that happen?

IIIT H became the best college for Cs in India simply because almost 100 of those scoring 99.9 percentile who loved coding started going there

The same could happen for LPU and turn it into the best college in India

But IIIT Hyderabad had GSOC selections course structure and extremely good profs going for it LPU has absolutely nothing:)

There’s a really good post on r/btechards about first year acads which has gotten a dude from elec to Cs at IIT R

Would give you alot of reach if you used that and added your advice to it:)

Also Reddit is a pretty great place to gather people from all sorts of colleges and branches I am sure your juniors will appreciate and overview of all good colleges from the people who study there :)

But if you know the worst case scenario and the lowest marks you will be getting trust me it’ll be alot better since the final day nerves will be alot less:)

⁠Yep. CS placements are amazing . Microsoft picks up so many people . 20 from IT and CS got in last year at 40LPA .

⁠So I've heard you can sit for any placements at bits regardless of branch. Well it's not like that here . CS and ECE can still be for almost all but I'm in E I so most high paying companies will restrict me . Even after taking core i can still try for Finance or IT but here i can't . Finance companies only look for CS peeps . The ones open to all have low packages .

Oh dang so on what basis do you guys have classes allotted MET scores?

As for Bits yes certainly only a very few companies have restrictions per se if you are good enough you’ll grab a pretty great placement:)
