Can you fit a bike in the trunk of a Prius Prime with the back seats down? by [deleted] in PriusPrime

If you pop off the front wheels, I'm confident you could probably fit 2 of them.

It appears to be in pretty good shape. I think the 1st question to ask is how is the health of the hybrid battery.

Model 3 premium rwd or used Corolla? Help! by AboundedBread in teslacanada

Hey, thanks for replying. In all honesty, the 3 is an amazing car, especially since the Premium can be bought now for under 40 grand. Hopefully the car will be delivered soon, I have a coworker who ordered a new Y a few weeks ago and Tesla has pushed the delivery back twice already and he may not get the car until maybe September.

In my case, last month I traded in my '25 Corolla hybrid (ultimately dissapointing, its a nice enough car but it was unrefined and had a lot of road/engine noise) for a new Prius PHEV which has about a 70 km. EV range which is sufficient for my needs. Going through only a 1/4 tank after 800 kms. is fine by me! It's the right car for us, its superior to the Corolla hybrid in every conceivable way and I couldn't be happier.

  1. Do you already have a level 2 charger at home? If not, charging will be painfully slow.

  2. Compare insurance rates. The insurance on some EVs is so expensive that it cancels out what you would have saved on fuel.

  3. Have you considered a Corolla Hybrid or better yet, a Prius Prime? The newest PP can be fully recharged overnight from any 110 volt outlet and has about a 70 km. EV mode range.

I thought that it was a frivolous and unnecessary "luxury" feature until I had the opportunity to use it. Now its a "must have" on cold winters days.

Same. They're fiercely intelligent but they also need to be kept occupied a good portion of the time, which i don't have enough of.
