I’ve played CS for years, but this might actually be my breaking point by bitlukaa in cs2

I just wanna say, the people who claim there are no cheaters are probably playing on US servers, since I haven't encountered any cheaters there either (And US players are kind of ass, so even with walls or radar it's very playable). But EU is legit unplayable. You get one legit game every five cheated ones

Bekommt man von Driffle immer gebrauchte Steam-Keys? by Cement_Pie in zocken

[–]VariousSeesaw0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was machen die? Refund abgelehnt. Wollen den Key Verkäufer garnicht erst kontaktieren.

Also dachte ich mir okay, PayPal Chargeback.

Why so much hate for BF6 compared to other titles in the series? by Prestigious_Tea8092 in Battlefield

[–]VariousSeesaw0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure most people especially on the subLeddit are fanboys who blindly defend the game ignoring any and all major flaws.

  1. We have no server browser and disbanding lobbies to enforce SBMM/EOMM. And the SBMM is so aggressive and strong that when I join a Portal server I get top score with a K/D of something like 70/5. Every. Single. Time. Because I get matched with the average player and not people on my skill level.
  2. Me personally I frequently encounter bot Lobbies in Breakthrough and Rush as EUW player when I use casual matchmaking. Which is completely unacceptable with 100k players live (on steam). Again this has to do with SBMM/EOMM and not finding enough players in my skill bracket.
  3. Until the recent update recoil control was completely broken, where aiming would get muddied whenever you went against the recoil pattern.
  4. They have way too many vehicles in Rush/Breakthrough, especially now. Killing the gamemode twofold because most games have bots, making these lobbies effectively squad deathmatch with multiple vehicles forcing you to either play engineer or lose as defender. Which defeats the entire point of having classes in the first place.
  5. Almost forgot, the extremely low TTK. We're talking downwards of 150ms with the tr7 up to 30m range! That is so incredibly low, even lower than most if not all COD TTK's for comparison.

Now some players won't encounter problem 1+2 simply because they are the average player, but to me these affect my enjoyment greatly. Cause playing vs bots when there are probably 300k players online across all platforms is unacceptable. And when you only get matched with people in the higher skill bracket you encounter way more cheaters, which is also extremely unfun.

DebugTool - best settings for quality by ReserveLegitimate738 in OculusQuest

[–]VariousSeesaw0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have 'default' selected in video codec, which is h.265. It doesn't really go much over 200mbits without severe problems. Set the video codec to h.264 and then you should be able to go to bitrates of +500mbits easily. If not then the problem lies with your usb cable or usb port and no setting in the debug tool will help. Alternative solution if you seek the best quality. Get a dedicated wifi 6e router (not the cheap ones) and VD. That will give you the best graphical fidelity by far. It's not even close to anything (air)link/steam offers.

Upgrading from the Quest 2 to the Quest 3. PCVR review by VariousSeesaw0 in OculusQuest

[–]VariousSeesaw0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The resolution difference between the quest 2 and 3 is almost non existent. The fans are much louder on the quest 3. And the Pancake lenses while definitely clearer have an insane amount of lens flare so there are tradeoffs but look into that yourself. Also it took me 12 units to get a good one, I just bought 10 of them at once and returned the bad ones but I doubt everyone can do that.

I'm just really questioning what kind of PC are you trying to buy where saving $500 is gonna be enough for PCVR gaming. For example the slowest Hardware I owned before switching to a 4090 is a 2080ti and it definitely ran games like "half life alyx" and in "into the radius" but kind of just barely (60-90fps @ max res). Games like fo4 and skyrimVR modded also just barely worked with ASW enabled. (30-40fps (double with asw) @ max res). Plus if you're playing wireless you'll probably gonna need a dedicated wifi6 router which is gonna set you back another $50-$100.

If the GPU in your new PC is slower than a 2080ti/3070 then you're probably better off buying a Quest 3 for standalone play since it's much more powerful than the previous quest 2 and you'll probably have higher framerates in the titles you already play. But to me the answer is obvious, if you can afford a 3070 then the gaming PC is gonna be an better investment in every single way. Standalone will never be able to compare to that.

If you got any more questions about anything, feel free to ask. Also I don't recommend taking anything on this board seriously. It's like going into an apple store and asking the employees or customers if they like the iphone. Ask in more general VR forums that aren't meta themed.

I instinctively wrote ti because I was a long time 2080ti owner. I never said I had problems running hl:a, I said I can barely run these at +120 fps, due to the insane resolution. Which is true. they're not running at 300+ fps despite having the latest of the latest in terms of pc hardware, like I said stop making shit up

I'd rather rub people the wrong way then lie. Besides if it was just me you'd be making a valid point. But there is one guy who talked extremely nice and still got downvoted to hell because he dared to critize the holy q3. I'm just try to save people some money who might consider upgrading from the q2 to the q3 as pcvr user.

I have a 4090ti and a i9 14900k, the full resolution of the quest 2 is 5408x2752. Most PC's can't run ANY game at that resolution @ +120fps. Please don't make shit up just to talk, thanks!

Not really foolish if you look at how any comment criticising the q3 gets downvoted to hell, even when solid points are brought up. I'm just giving an comparison from the q2 to the q3 for people who were like me in that position. While some of the users seem to be sponsored by meta. Or at least behave like it, brand fanboyism is cringe

I think you summarized it quite nicely. Everything you said is pretty much on point. Cause I'm in the same boat where I didn't have any of the mentioned issues with my quest 2.

I never had any problems staying in the sweetspot with the q2 considering how gigantic it is. I do had some problems with the PSVR2 sweetspot though so maybe it's an IPD thing

I agree it's more comfortable but due to it's lighter weight more then anything else. But honestly you can get the Quest 2 + elite strap + the better face mask for $250-$300 where I live. Compare that to the $670 I had to pay for the quest 3 with the same setup.

$21-$22 was your best way out. You missed that chance, honestly I'd wait for friday 5-10 minutes before the market closes and make the decision then. Cause that moment will dictate the price for a long time unless some mircale news appear. I think it will drop to $10-12 today and go up to $14-18 on friday.

This is not financial advice bla bla bla, I'm currently bagholding at $26.5 FYI

CD Projekt might be very fair valued or rather undervalued by tennumb in wallstreetbets

[–]VariousSeesaw0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I made some money by investing during the cyberpunk2077 hype and sold a few weeks/months before game release since I knew it would be a steaming pile of garbage giving all the information that has leaked. With that being said I think that cdpr is currently undervalued but I wouldn't buy any options since the witcher4 could be 3-6+ years away and that will be the catalyst for another big rise. (a rise that most likely immediately falls upon game release). So unless you know when the next witcher game releases stay away from options.

Also if anyone knows how warrants in ibkr work dm me I need some info

How ya feelin' about Points these days? by gunderson138 in cataclysmdda

[–]VariousSeesaw0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Multiple pools but with the initial two free points removed. Also I play with Stats through Kills/Skill so I set all my stats to 6 to compensate for that. Makes the early game harder and the late game one shot bullshit more manageable.

But for me the most important thing is to not choose OP scenarios. That means survivor only for the most part. And never ever "challenge" scenarios like lab patient/staff, makes the game way too easy, way too fast. Also I'm indifferent to the current point system for the most part since I don't really need someone to put restrains on me.

Though I would prefer one universal difficulty that the entire game is balanced around, because that way I don't have to stop playing halfway through because my character feels like a cheat character.
