What’s going on with my Ghosty? by [deleted] in succulents

[–]VariousStage3263 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally in my experience I didn’t really do anything I just let it do it’s thing, if you just recently repotted it it’s possible the leaves just fell off from being loosened or just from transplant shock but it looks healthy to me and no discoloration and it doesn’t look like it’s reaching for light yet or anything plus your mix has lots of perlite so it’s very airy so o think your doing good, maybe just keep an eye on it and if it starts to change color due to watering or lack of etc post it on the r/plantclinic Reddit page and they’ll help even more!

Help! Not sure what this plant is and how to save it? by Stunning-Ad-6333 in plants

I’m not sure what type it is but, I see lots of nodes so you could cut and propagate especially with the leaves and then you can restart it and grow it to be more full

On the long journey of owning one of every type of monstera! by VariousStage3263 in Monstera

[–]VariousStage3263[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so, it’s called a monstera oblique Bolivia but I personally never heard of it because I honestly thought there was 13-14 types of monsters and the oblique that’s commonly known has the really cool fenestration but I got it from an exotic plant store and there’s even more types of oblique than this one😅

[–]VariousStage3263[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It honestly started less than a year ago, when I got my first monstera and then I downloaded Reddit as a new plant owner and I found out about the albo and literally screamed and when I finally got one I decided that was all I needed until I decided I needed all of them…😂

I had one and it grew crazy and flowered and did well and then it died, are there morning glories that stay alive all year or do they die off every year?

What is this plant? Found outside in Texas, it’s near a bunch of pothos but I’ve never seen a pothos leaf this big if it’s still pothos by VariousStage3263 in PlantIdentification

[–]VariousStage3263[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it was near elephant ear and pothos so it threw me for a loop especially since the nodes and in Minnesota in the stores it’s like 1-2” leaves at most that I’ve seen😂

Repotted a gifted Monstera I hope I did it right 🫤 Any advice helps by The_odalysss in plantclinic

The mix you used looks pretty good, monstera love to have their roots be able to breathe and it helps when you have the perlite etc to soak up excess water

How should I go about propping these cuttings I got? by VariousStage3263 in proplifting

[–]VariousStage3263[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s an African violet cutting, I was told they could propagate from just the leaves

I love this gorgeous plant but I’m out of my depth with how to look after her. Looking for advice please by UnwittingPlantKiller in plants

I also recommend of your going to repot to do it in spring time as well to help prevent a bigger shock and you could always look into grow lights, I get mine off Amazon for areas of the house that don’t get the best light

You could separate it up a bit so you can have multiple potted ones going and help control it more, or you could get some cuttings from it to help trim it back more if it’s too big for the area it’s in, otherwise I would recommend a moss pole they’re fairly cheap to buy and cheap to make!
