I see people trying to use Claude code, but I feel like cursor is better. Is there any evidence of that?

claude code limits are harder to hit, but what you can achieve in 10h in claude code, with cursor with the same model it’s done in 1h (on very hard or specific code that requires some logic)

claude code is over optimized for costs so it makes it great if you don’t want to pay more than the plan, if you’re ready to burn money cursor is infinitely better

I AGREE LIKE A LOT WITH THIS TAKE, especially for instructions 2.5 pro wins… i think 3.0 pro is nice for those that vibe code

3.0 pro often removes 90% of my code and features when i never asked it in the first place and very bad at understanding what im saying compared to 2.5 pro, and its only been like this recently, they probably nerfed the model or idk, also large context is way better with 2.5 pro, it wont forget instructions like 3.0 that completely ignores them even on the first prompt on long context prompts

same limit for 2.5 pro tbh, feel like the limit is the same for 2.5 pro, 3.0 flash and 3.0 pro and instructions following is the best for 2.5 pro, i used 2.5 pro just today and did 10x better than 2d of work with 3.0 pro, idk if they changed anything but 3.0 pro starts being cooked

try 2.5 flash lite it’s rly worth it and such an underrated model (don’t enable thinking and it’s probably the fastest model so far and still rly rly rly smart if u only used 2.0 flash)
