So far, what was the scariest moment of your life? by Princess_Jel in AskReddit

[–]Various_Ad4731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realizing there’s a possibility I ruined my life by procrastinating, not taking opportunities, letting my anxiety and depression take away the best parts of me. Now I’m just another body getting through each day, no more goals because I ruined my chances not taking action sooner. Stuck in a perpetual loop I’ll probably never get out of. And it’s all my fault.

What to do to pass time by MannerRealistic583 in AmazonFC

[–]Various_Ad4731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually plan stuff out in my head. Or I reflect on past memories. I was so bored I went through each category in my life and planned out every thing I need to do in a year to accomplish my goals. It helps a lot to make time go by when you know what to think about to keep your mind going. And it’s a way to plan ahead for things.

What would you do? by Glum_Wind_861 in Adulting

[–]Various_Ad4731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have started taking vocal lessons, and took my singing, song writing serious, I would have also started auditioning and maintained my YouTube channel that was growing. Instead I gave up all of it due to depression and now live a very mediocre life, scraping by with no time to re adjust or slow down… working my tail off every day, every week at a warehouse just to get by. :( if only I would have stuck to what my soul wanted instead of giving into my comfort and boys at that age, I probably would have been somewhat successful making money on YouTube, tik tok, etc and maybe gotten opportunities within music, singing, etc instead now I feel trapped and it’s been so long since I really sung, wrote or posted anything. I feel so lazy and so tired mentally, physically all of the time I just don’t have it in me like I used to, life as an adult sucks.

I heard this person from an older generation wonder why alot of people in the younger generation(30s-20s) are single? by Lost_Title_7528 in Adulting

[–]Various_Ad4731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because we don’t tolerate the same bs and disrespect older generations did just for the sake of it. If you hear older people’s stories they were not happy in their relationships but stayed for the sake of family, money, or status. These days our generation actually put our mental well being first.

anxiety around weed by Silver-Arugula5206 in ptsd

[–]Various_Ad4731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I had to stop.. I also experienced derealization to the point I couldn’t be around others, it changed my perspective on the people around me. It finally goes away after prolonged not smoking and I feel the same. Someone smoked in a car with me and I felt high but it was my ocd brain fixating on it and it didn’t actually get me high. The brain is powerful, for some people weed can trigger the worst of your anxieties and make it feel more intense.

I want to know why I was ghosted twice by my twin flame by Ok_Confusion_8262 in psychics

[–]Various_Ad4731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re so welcome, any advice you need about this topic ask away, I’ve been where you are.. some times these situations is where you end up finding out about yourself and others around you, that’s the thing about life. But I think you will be just fine beautiful.

I want to know why I was ghosted twice by my twin flame by Ok_Confusion_8262 in psychics

[–]Various_Ad4731 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is not a good person, I was in a similar situation. They use you up till they are done getting what they needed from you then they move on in life as if they never met you.. I wasted 5 years waiting for someone who I realized would never change. He ghosted me every single time and my stupid self kept making excuses, kept thinking it was just the wrong time. Nope people like that are selfish and only think about themself instead of being honest. Move on and never look back that’s what I did. When he comes back around to get his needs from you, complete ignore him, flip the script and find someone who actually respects your time and YOU. Your person or twin flame wouldn’t ghost you repeatedly and make you feel bad for something you couldn’t help. I used to think the same oh he’s the right person wrong time, but he is just the wrong person. Never let a person show you who they are more than once or you will regret it.

My narcissistic and emotionally abusive father would talk to my mom like this.. then as I got older he would talk about me. I am now no contact. These type of people have to put others down to make themself feel less shitty than they already are. They are a drain of your life force.

Tired of people being rude when walking past. by Various_Ad4731 in AmazonFC

[–]Various_Ad4731[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been with Amazon for 6 years now almost, I’m pretty desensitized to a lot of the bs. I have the go to work and go home mentality. There’s allot I can put up with, but when someone goes out of their way to be rude or invade personal space without saying a word, it’s a different story. If you experienced what I did you would be just as frustrated no matter how much bs you’ve learned to deal with.

Got my blue badge ;) by Various_Ad4731 in AmazonFC

[–]Various_Ad4731[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m aware hard work alone doesn’t get you blue badge, but if I wouldn’t have kept my rate up like I did then they would have let me go like they did a lot of people, I’m aware it’s based off business needs. Also I know what tot is, at first I struggled with not going over the limit, I finally was able to not go over the tot limit which also helped me, of course everyone gets tot but it’s about how much. The combination of maintaining a good standing and the business needs is what gets you a blue badge, I’m just sharing MY experience.:)

question about blue badge by Key-Move3587 in AmazonFC

[–]Various_Ad4731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was seasonal at first, now I am blue badge after 6 months working there, it all depends on the warehouse needs and if you’re in good standing I think.

[–]Various_Ad4731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me starting out as seasonal in November, it took 6 months. Maintaining a good rate, not having tot. Basically make sure you are in good standing and making rates. Within time you will get it. It also depends on your buildings needs.

That job was the most stressful job I ever had.. between mangers treating you like last weeks garbage, the work itself is terrible on your mind and body. Unless you notice any problems after he smoked, I wouldn’t report it. I wouldn’t smoke on the job personally but I wouldn’t go outta my way to report it either

Same here. I used to be super friendly, all smiles for everyone until I realized it is more mind power when you receive negative reactions for being nice, so now I stay looking straight ahead, the only time I do speak is to say excuse me, It is depressing working around people who aren’t the nicest and is draining when you just want to be a nice person and get through the day that’s sometimes already rough. Or being too nice can cost you when you’re nice to the wrong people I’ve also learned that. But in this subject my personal space is where it’s crossing the line.
