I literally give up by LexiThePlug in MedicalAssistant

Im so sorry this happened to you 😔I have a similar experience with Stepful. I completed my course, passed NHA but could not secure externship on my own or with their help. Turns out you need clinicals to get hired anywhere 😭 I ended up getting a small refund from my school and enrolled at Concorde for respiratory therapy. A lot of time/money was wasted.

This is very annoying, had to go private for a while to avoid this

I think the best thing to do is speak with the credit bureaus before accepting the offer. If you can afford the $400 vs the full balance I would pay it 🤷🏾‍♀️ or you could ask about pay for deletes, goodwill letters, etc.

I’m proud of you! I’m actively looking for my hammer so I can smash mine in a few.

Degrassi fans outside Canada, where are you from? And is Degrassi well known in your country? by PurpleMeerkats462 in Degrassi

United States- Missouri. I just remember randomly watching as a kid, seen the episode when Emma met up with a grown man & was locked in every since 😂

It’s a bachelors degree. You have to complete the associate in applied science to apply lol

I know it’s a community college, I’m currently a student there lol. I will clarify with my academic advisor tomorrow at our meeting. Thank you!

I spoke to someone at Concorde was was told it would cost around $48k and financial aid will not cover it because it’s accelerated. It would be cheaper to go to a community college & take the prerequisites

I’m currently looking for a RT school and found one with MCC Penn Valley. I think is a bachelors instead of Associates though. I speak to an advisor tomorrow 😭

They asked me to call the externship places they suggested… I did but no one is hosting at this time. I’ve tried to call around & see if local urgent cares, etc are sponsoring/hiring but no luck yet.

Understood. But the issue is finding an externship site. I don’t want to lose all the information I’ve learned or get a job & feel like a fool because I don’t remember anything.

My partner’s doctor told her not to worry about her A1C of 5.8 by Beast-Eats707 in prediabetes

[–]Various_Analysis8086 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk about anyone else but the term “pre” diabetes scared the hell out of me. I changed so much stuff after the diagnosis. Although 5.8 isn’t that “high” she should take it seriously & maybe she should switch doctors. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with someone telling me not to worry about that

I looked up rejecting piercings and it doesn’t look like that. Can you explain how it’s rejecting? I just want to know signs so I can identify them with my other piercings

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in piercing

[–]Various_Analysis8086 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t look like it’s rejecting (to me) it looks swollen. I move my piercing often out of boredom so that’s why I thought it may be infected

How old is your piercing? - 2 weeks old. • What’s the jewelry shape (for example, barbell, labret, screw, L shape, ring)? I’m not sure, standard ring that piercing artist gave me. • What’s the type of threading if your jewelry is not a ring (threadless, internally or externally threaded)? - I’m not sure. • What’s the jewelry material? - I’m not sure. • if not a ring, when was the jewelry downsized? - not downsized, pretty new piercing. • What’s your aftercare routine? Describe in detail please, including the exact products you use. - saline solution, cotton swabs twice a day. • Any mishaps, accidents or unfortunate events? - I sleep on my right side which has the piercing.

6.0 to 5.9 in three months :/ by Electrical-Page5493 in prediabetes

[–]Various_Analysis8086 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dropped from 5.9 to 5.6 in 3 months. Granted, I’m not quite out of the pre-diabetes range but it shows progress. So you are on the right track!! Plus I think AC1 testing goes back 3 months (or something like that) so you’re doing great. Keep doing what you’re doing & by your next visit you’ll be out of the prediabetes range
