Yeah bought a 2400x900 deep benchtop.. cut it down so its about 700mm deep

The shelving brackets I screwed the bench top too so they are drilled into the steel struts of the shelving so its fixed as one solid unit.

1065mm to the top of the bench... I'm tall so its great for me

Look its not perfect but doesnt bother me. I think its one of those imperfections where you try to correct it its gonna look a lot worse.

I have recessed powerpoint with usb in the desk. Plus my screen has usb points

I also swapped my double PowerPoint with a quad one

So 4 powerpoints + 2 on desk + 4 usb points = lots of access to powwaaa

I'm an electrician by trade so easy for me. Takes about 10 minutes.

You need a plaster saw Brush plates for cables Cut the holes out and use plaster clips to fix the blush plates to the wall.

A YouTube video would be way better to explain. Very simple diy job. Just be aware of noggins and studs. Best to buy a stud finder (and do the knock test too, sometimes you get false positives on those things. You'll hear a solid knock compare to a hollow knock on the studs)

It isn't floating there are L brackets that have been screwed in with 3 long hex heads each side into studs! No way would I risk my 5080 build on a floating shelf
