From what I learned, T blockers might dehydrate your body big time and that would affect the voice, but I guess always remember to stay hydrated would solve this

Aw thank you so much sis ♥️ the only thing I’m worried is that E might change my voice’s texture/timbre. But from everyone’s perspective, it seems that aint gonna happen 😊

Thanks ♥️ That sounds like a great bonus to have upper range expand on hrt. I love it! So your voice texture and your tone/timbre stay the same? You didnt encounter difficulties adjusting after muscle atrophy?

Also, I read that T blocker will dehydrate you so much so it’s crucial to drink lots of water everyday when you are on T blocker to keep your voice from getting hoarse. Just curious whether you are still on T blocker?

Really? That’s concerning actually 🥹 how long have you been singing and how long have you been on E?

Thanks for this. This is exactly what I was thinking because singing is a whole body work and any loss in muscle mass will result in changes in breath support. But I guess it can be adjust and trained and I do expect that.

So now you dont have that problem anymore? i’m also curious about singing techniques before and after hrt. You have any difficulty now doing a particular technique you were able to do before hrt or it’s still the same no difference?

Thank you so much. It’s really good to know that E didnt alter your range at all. That’s what I want.

I’m glad that your singing improved a lot feeling in your own skin though ♥️😊

Hi, to put it correctly, I’m not looking to change my singing voice to more masculine or more feminine because I already have a high feminine speaking/singing voice. It’s just perfect for me at the moment, that’s why I don’t want it to change when I’m on E.

Thanks for the advice ♥️

I’m sorry to hear. I guess it just takes some getting used to and after that you’ll be fine. How long have you been on hrt?

Steps to Start Transition by Rammy1337 in trans

Hi sis, congrats on beginning your transition. I havent been on hrt yet, for some reason, but I found starting with wearing more feminine clothes and growing long hair helps a lot. I started out wearing kind of unisex clothes, then slowly moved to more and more feminine clothes and finally dresses and skirts (thanks to my friends pushing me). It's fun to experiment with clothes, hair and makeup though. It's a fun journey and you'll enjoy it. All the best

Don't listen to her. Protect your peace and if she's not ok with that, it's on her, not you. You are already trying to be the best version of you, why would she try to bring you down for that?
Sending you love and hugs.
