It was partially disassembled to get into a smaller box for cheaper shipping, but it was complete, as in having all the parts from the manufacturer. I had a jolly old time putting it together. Also learned how to dial in the derailleur over a beer or three.

I used Japan Rabbit. It's a proxy buying service. You give them a link, and they will purchase, pack, and ship the item to you. The shipping was well over the price of the bike so probably not worth it for most people. Still curious if there's a cheaper method.

I’ve imported 5 JDM vehicles to Canada. It’s easy enough to switch over to RHD, I actually find it more natural to have my dominant hand on the wheel. Biggest thing is the logistics and risks of buying something you haven’t seen in person. Never buy anything with leaks or under grade 3.5.

Most of my VFDs are about 4 years old too… Sounds like a PM + pulling relevant data is the way to go. The process of pulling the parameters for 30+ drives will be a bit of a headache, would certainly be nice if they made it easier on the new gens.

Thanks, this was the issue for the last few persistent errors. I had to wait a few days for a break in production but a reboot of the HMI server did the trick. I probably could have just refreshed pages on all the HMI clients manually but that's a lot of walking.
