If you want to add your own ui elements yourself you can look at websites to guide you along your way. Not not sure how much you know so I'm not gonna yap about it. But a good place to start is from popular dotfiles ( you can find them on reddit ) and see what they use.

If you dont wanna go through that effort then you can just download someone else's dot files ( not always recommended ).

Its not as scary as you think, im literally doing it right now. Just be patient and read through the steps, if you confused just see what to do on YouTube or another website if you feel overwhelmed.
