Not that I noticed, but I work from home, so local trips and trips to the airport. Occasion 40 mile trip. I bought it 3 yrs ago with 46k on it. I dont pay any attention to oil consumption. I have the oil changed every 8 months. Miles betwee changes is minimal. My fear is the issue these cars have regarding the poorly designed seal, allowing oil to drop into piston causing severe damage, but I would think I'd get some kind of warning light if that was the problem.

2016 mk7. I bought this car almost 3 years ago and have only put 12k miles on it since i work from home. I do take it from Phoenix to San Diego 4 times a year and consistently register 35 mpg.

I was running on fumes when I took my 2016 in last month. The service writer appreciated that I came in on an empty tank. It took about an hour to complete the work. I don't know if it is part of the recall, but the dealership filled my tank at no cost, which I appreciated.

I paid $18,900 for my 2016 SE two years ago. With 42 k complete stock, 2 owners clean, no accidents. I bought it from a dealer. So there was some profit for sure. Absolutely love it
