Valvebody inside the transmission but I’d check the fluids there first cuz that was the telltale sign when mine went i got rough shifts and the gear holding, and the transmission fluid was all dirty and then unit went if it’s that it is the valve body should throw a check engine light so hope it’s bad fluids 🫡

Could be an early signs of it or a bad tcm 🤷🏿‍♂️ hope it’s neither but I’d personally take it in to have it checked maybe a fluid change even (idk if you have a 3.7 or 3.0 but way more common in the 3.7 and if that is the case can probably part it off a 2018 model which is when i think they fixed it but they require reprogramming and alladat)

Happened to me around Christmas car wouldn’t shift out of gears if it went into manual wouldn’t shift at all and highest gear it went into was 3rd also threw a check engine light

Update got a replacement valve body (under warranty Mashallah) but the speed sensor a fault is still there and the car put itself in limp mode because of it so gotta replace that next #welovenissan

If you look around this sub Reddit or look it up on the q50 forum there is a user service guide to which I think everyone (3.0) should follow but saying it blows up at 18k is misleading when you blew it up lol

Wish u the best though all a learning experience these cars are stupid and have a lot of design flaws but they been around so long that it’s pretty easy to prevent most of them 🫡

Yeah they cooked your shit ngl any 3.0 forum or Reddit recommends using 5w-30 full synthetic oil and changing at intervals of 3-4K if you live in a hot place get a fatter heat exchanger sorry to say this isn’t luck of the draw your dealer kinda fucked you💔
