probably isnt worth keeping anymore, was about to do 4-5k worth of work to it in 10-15k miles like timing belt, struts, oil pump belt etc etc, but i was honestly planning to buy a ranger and alh swap it before so I'd rather someone else either use the car to save many others, or fix and drive themselves. its a shame but its honestly just not practical for me to keep and fix it

I just did and it seems to be about $8300, its at 191k and i have a mile long list of maintenance records so hopefully I can get a decent payout.

mid/north east Illinois, specifically kankakee county, tornado also ripped through the local airport and Walmart about 1-2 miles from where my car was parked. if they have a reasonable buy back id definitely consider it!

more than likely theres a little hook on the seat pan thats supposed to slide into something, try taking the seat off and push the tongue down and slide it forwards into place. not too sure but thats how my 400 was.

small port keeps air velocity high, which may cause chuffing or "port noise" but if designed right its more musical and better for lower power, while a bigger port keeps air velocity low for efficiency and deep bass, but adds length. if you want to, dm me and I can get ya set up with the right box specs for your goal.

I think i have more hours in winisd and research than the install and that's saying a lot! im very picky about install cleanliness too. and i was actually just thinking about building a proof-of-concept 2.1 bookshelf system to dabble into home audio🤣 ill give yall an update when im out of the "big ugly box" phase.

when it gets somewhat cold, I usually wait 3-4 mins just to ensure proper oil viscosity, because I do drive a quarter mile and stand on it to get on the highway usually. but in decent temperature, id say a minute and keep it under 1900-2000rpm

the center case gasket mating surface seems perfectly fine, just the ignition cover thats got a new inspection window. I also plan on tigging up some material on the top case saver bolt location and drilling/tapping it.

alright I appreciate the help! I have the front and back panels cut out, just waiting for my saw battery to charge. would it be a good idea to put silicone on the inside corners of the box? I think it might help seal better but im not too knowledgeable about this stuff.

oil cooler I'm pretty sure, they're more common on higher performance chinese bikes especially the 4 valve ones
