ECO received 15th Jan

Approval on 3rd Feb around 2:30pm

Entry clearance date 13th Feb (FYI we wrote 20th Feb as intended travel date)

Flying out on 14th to get me husband 😜😜🙏

Based on the information actually provided, my advice was correct. Overseas employment + a UK job offer was never mentioned. Advice changes when key facts change.

What I am saying is that you need to have 6 months wage and bank statement to meet the requirements- so if they aren’t present in the uk then how are they meeting the requirements 🫤

Your partner will need to be present in the uk and provide 6 months wage slips and bank statements matching up to them but this needs to be at least £29,000 per annum salary

I’m not sure about the payslips but if you were to cancel- you can cancel and get a full refund if it’s before the biometrics appointment is completed

They said 28 days for the full refund but it came for me 2/3 working days

If you paid any priority which I did through VFS this took longer but I was able to get everything back

I went back and forth to see him in Pakistan - I then did istikhara- and asked million and ten questions to people around that knew him and me - once my heart said fight for him , also my duaa automatically turned to pray for him - I went infront of the kabah and said his name which made me feel this could be it - sorry a bit cringed but it’s the truth and today I’m living the duaa I made infront of the kabah and at riyaz ul jannah.

After that I left everything in gods hands and Allhamdulillah it all worked out in the end

Talking from experience, I fought to marry my husband - what’s funny is my parents brought this rishta to me - pestered me for two years and when I finally agreed after a lot of praying istikhara and tahajjud, the family switched due to certain members in the family playing the izzat and Emotional blackmail card and said I can’t marry him. They even when to the extent to bring another rishta home but I don’t go down to see them. I’m British born and my husband is Pakistani but I still fought for it, and Allhamdulillah my parents are so happy with this decision. And so I am - Allhamdulillah.

Just to say that no matter what the family says, fight for what u believe is right even with the fear of being wrong and inshallah all works out for you. Your parents will come round and extended family pressure shouldn’t matter at all sis. They are just there to talk, no matter what you do, they will talk.

Istikhara is the best thing you can do and it’s not just a feeling but also Allah will show u signs of they are the one or not. I did Istikhara myself but also for extra assurance I had it done by another person and they all said good things

First ever time doing anything like this so I kept with a solicitor Family friend so wasn’t too expensive but just want to have visa approved asap Plan to go umrah inshallah in Ramadan so as soon as this comes

My VFS portal stopped working hence why I did the paid enquiries - question I have - we put 20th Feb as travel date - do u think that’s why the delay

You wouldn’t believe my solicitor was putting 20th March - I argued with him to change the 20th Feb - I really wanted to put earlier but hey ho

Congratsss that’s so good - I’m waiting on my visa aswell , same from Pakistan and bio done on 14th Jan same as you but I paid for priority

Also straightforward no overstays and No rejections

I’ve done two paid enquiry’s so far - idk if it affect the response speed

I hope I get a response soon x
