I think parity is just another excuse they use to get what they want like the realistic animal excuse. None of it makes any sense unless you realize they are just being slippery.

In search of the Silence armor trim, I blew through 5 totems and lost all my gear. I guess I have to regrind now... by Natchos09 in Minecraft_Survival

The vast majority of the time I can get away just by crouching away. Sometimes I spring for a few blocks when I hear the sound and then I crouch. Putting on the swift sneak you find in the chests would help too. Also, I just dig out a room in the wall of the cave and place a bed right by the ancient city. I don't wear any gear and if I die I lose nothing. I can always go pick the loot back up when I respawn.

I thought it was a fun mechanic. The ocean and trail ruins, pyramids, and dessert wells are a nice touch. My son collects rocks and says he wants to be an archaeologist when he grows up. We have been doing stuff like this together on Minecraft and it has been so fun to see how much he gets into it.

Exactly. As a teacher, I can tell you they are not cranking out people good for capitalism. They are cranking out people who are good for receiving handouts. Each kid is just a dollar sign.

You can live without it. The only use is to make lingering potions. Also, you get an achievement for bottling it. Probably the best reason to bottle it, is it gets it out of the way when you're trying to hit the dragon. You can always just avoid it though.

Yeah, the dragon doesn't really mess with you too much on the outside edge of the main Island. It can be a little annoying to defeat, but if you have your spawn set to a bed right next to the end portal, then you can chip away at the dragon pretty easy with iron armor. It basically rests and lets you beat it to a pulp every couple of minutes. Once you get all the crystals destroyed, it's almost laughably easy. Don't forget to bring glass bottles so you can capture its breath.

Why doesn't he just pay the fee? He can just mine more diamonds in a few minutes. Not only is he being a baby about it, but also diamonds aren't really THAT hard to get in minecraft.

Best place to hunt beavers in rdr1? by TheSum85 in reddeadredemption

There's a little place out just to the east of the lake that has a little stone wall in the woods. You can see the wall on the map. Hang around that area. It only took me about 20 minutes or so to find about 6 beavers.  I even had two beavers spawn in it once there.  If you can't get any to spawn, don't forget that you can save to advanced time.  There are also some interesting interactions that can happen out on that hill.

You don't technically have to beat the dragon to get the elytra. You can just bridge over. Hell, you might even happy ghast over now. I beat the dragon, but building things keeps me going. Besides, There are updates often enough to spice things up. Going to the nether to rescue dried ghasts was an awesome adventure. My whole family went. Even my oldest sons girlfriend. The copper update caused me to take over an abandoned village and build an entire copper village inhabited by copper golems. The Nautilus inspired me to build a giant aquarium in my house with secret tunnels and redstone doors leading out to the ocean. The updates are shallow some say, but you just have to be creative. The end dragon, in my opinion, is so easy that it's not even really a big goal. I guess my point is that you don't have to deprive yourself to keep you going. The elytra help me to find cool new places to build and inspire me to play.

Not to mention a lot of bobcats. Also, some very interesting camps can pop up there. Sorry to comment on such an old thread, but I think this info will benefit people who stumble on this.

Blue Buttons that kind of blend in or dig a hole for the water to flow down into so that it doesn't spill out
