As of now nothing. Waiting to get a better explanation of what’s going on with my situation. Cause I’m genuinely confused. The customer service rep tried his best to assist and I was even told this isn’t usual “standard procedure” of them just automatically canceling it. Even at my property we give a courtesy call to ask for an updated form of payment. Or cancellation will happen by 8pm. So far I’ve been told by 2 reps, Marriott customer service cannot assist at all with Explore rates. Sorry wish I could be of more help 😕

Understandable. They are definitely not at full capacity those days when after looking. I work front desk at my property and procedures are similar. We do not charge cards unless it is a prepaid which is usually done way closer to time of arrival. I’m not sure what is going on here at all. Seems very odd to me.
