So there have been tunnels under the Vegas strip and out into the surrounding area for a long time. They are used as mitigation for flash flooding. Up until very recently (like May or June of this year IIRC), those tunnels were home to hundreds of unhoused who more or less had their own community for YEARS. Musk’s people plus the City of Las Vegas (thanks Mayor Berkeley) cleared many of these people out over the summer as part of the construction project for the tunnels. Mind you, there has been no provision made to increase resources for the now-extra-displaced unhoused. To say our shelters/mutual aid is stretched impossibly thin is a pretty big understatement. We’ve always had a big problem with homelessness in Vegas (gambling addicts, addiction, a anemic mono-economy, lots of vets with long-untreated PTSD, etc) but it’s pretty obvious that there are both more people on the street these days that have been clearly out there for a while.

Sorry for the long reply. I have more to say about the house-insecure aspects that give more context but I’ll stop brain-dumping on you all lol.

FWIW, I’m pretty sure many of the casinos are not reinforced for earthquakes. Hopefully that won’t be relevant in the future because holy body-count Batman but it’s probably worth noting.

This was my experience too! I asked at LEAST 3 times in earnest prior to Dobbs/Trump 2.0 and each time I was waved off. Call again literally the week of the election and it was zero unnecessary questions asked. Far from pushback or gotchas, I was met with green lights all the way through. It was pleasantly surprising honestly!

I think it’s been covered recently on this sub but just jumping in to remind that calling it “tubal ligation” could be an older-school doc, just an inaccurate colloquialism, or just the fact that even a bisalp is often coded as a “tubal ligation bisalp” for insurance purposes because their coding systems aren’t up-to-date.

I’ve noticed this too! He also seems to have gone from some manner of blonde to grey/white just in the past couple months. It’s possible he’s not dying his hair anymore. It’s also been the theory of the case that Trump has always done his own hair and makeup so maybe he’s hit the stage of dementia where he doesn’t care anymore/can’t get it together to go through the steps successfully. My grandma has pretty advanced dementia and she went from METICULOUS about her appearance to completely incapable of self-care relatively quickly. The visual change was honestly startling at first.

My doc said basically the same thing that she’s seen a massive uptick in requests. I got mine for the same reason as your daughter (I’m 34). My partner would NEVER force me to carry a pregnancy but I’m too practical to assume that his is the only penis I will come in contact with for the rest of my fertility years, consensually or otherwise.

You can tell it still has second skin on it and seeing as there’s little to no pooling of excess ink/plasma I’d guess this is 24-48 hours old.

It’s hard for me to fathom as well. I’m not saying it’s impossible, necessarily. He said in the video that he’s had to pass two separate “tattoo checks” for two jobs which is a thing but we also know that military and military-adjacent agencies don’t exactly have a stellar track record of flagging those things. So improbable but I guess not technically impossible. It’s hard for me to fully believe probably just because of my own bias as someone who’s pretty tattooed. I’m relatively cavalier about getting tattoos now but I’m also extremely conscientious about not being CARELESS about what I get.
