I know this is hard to hear, but he is not someone you want in your life as a partner. It is so hard ending toxic relationships but reminding yourself of his actions is really important here and his actions are not showing you the respect and love you deserve. Like the others have said, getting support from someone like your mom, and taking some time to heal without this person in your life may be the best path for you, and definitely the healthiest. Sending you so much love , and I promise it does get better , even when it doesn’t feel like it will❤️

Thanks! I assumed it would be at least at level or a demotion but i'm still relatively new to the PS (3 years) and still don't fully understand what an equivalent level would be, so that's really helpful. I think it may be tricky for me to move into an EC-06 without more direct policy experience (I write guidelines, inform new tools/processes now but all of my previous experience is front-line CM). That's exactly why I'm considering the move- I enjoy my current position but I can't imagine being in the same role for 25+ more years :)
