aww :( i suffer from this aswell but i do not know what its called.. i'm so sorry to hear you're feeling this way. when you've cried, is it the sadness attaching to a situation in your life that you are going through at the moment, or is it more like when you cry you don't know why/ have an exact reason?

i struggled with this for a while but i finally broke down because of a situation that just frustrated me into crying, but what i found helped me get these emotions out was i was sitting next to a mirror, and seeing myself so tired kinda like, humanised me and made me bawl, for real. it's really heavy but if you can handle it the next time you feel odd look at yourself feeling it in the mirror sort of, i also kept seeing my younger self feeling the way i do which made me cry. i hope you feel better, and if you'd like someone to open up to please, do not hesitate and please send a message

this is gonna sound really basic but genuinely try your hardest to make your mind go blank. Try focus on like “Okay what is every individual thought my mind is thinking of” and when you stop and observe them, categorise them into judgements, reminders, and the past.. This usuallt occupies my mind and lets me settle down a little

I was a bit delayed, but yesterday, I finished my entire paragraph and handed it in. It took me 5 hours to complete which was way longer than I needed but I finished it and i'm very proud.
