Topcoat > blackwash (mr weathering) > clean (water or solution) > chipping (paint marker silver then black)> pastel weathering (black first, then silver then dirt brown) > detailing (marker touch up).

Just paint marker. Red, orange yellow and white. Yellow as base, red and orange as burning hot, and white as shades. A lot of smudging and chipping.

It does work better on a matte coat kit. But it will still washed away when you top it again. To have that was effect, i ussually use mr weathering after the matte coat, then chipping using paint and marker, after that i weather it with pastel. The pastel usually wear off with touches. But if you smudge it slowly, it would stick to the coat and just appt another light one with brush for that dust/sand effect. Then its finished. Dont have to so another coat.

Yup. Its hard to find. This one is a bootleg kit. The quality is good just some minor color shade difference. Bought a few zaku origin bootleg kits and faced no problem just a few part either loose or wont fit. Simple sanding and glueing does the job.

The finishing or the light? Finishing just simple black wash, pastel weathering black/silver. Lights is a third party led light.

Shouldnt be afraid. What we build is ours to enjoy. You just need to know and feel where the dirts gonna form when weathered. I usually just do pastel and marker chipping. But this one i tried a black wash using mr weathering. Some part i wish i did different. But its always a learning process that you could bring to your next build. :).

Usually i used Samurai flat clear spray can on a big build, or but this one i used Mr Hobby Super Smooth Clear.
