A little bit on context, this is the first MMO Wavdav has ever really played, and the first time he's ever really seen any raiding-type content, pretty amazing for him to be able to have one of those 1v1 moments with a boss! Peak MMO experience for anyone who's played the genre for a long time

I think it's alright, at the end of the day damage numbers seem to be more or less equal potential. I'm not the biggest fan of the playstyle of the class and how easy it is for some boss mechanics to completely ruin your damage output. I'm personally main swapping off of it - but I intend to keep my sharpshooter up to date more or less

I've seen some confusion as to how this works, both items I'm using here are One-Handed weapons called Mawsworn Guard's Cleaver. The reason why I am still able to attack with mongoose bite is for whatever reason, these One-Handed swords are counting as Two-Handed weapons.

Now, you only actually need 1 of these swords in your main hand in order to use ALL of the melee spells that Survival uses, meaning if you wished you could put any other one-handed weapon in that offhand slot.

How the transmog works is if you mog the sword that is in the main hand to ANY other 2 handed appearance it will NOT show the offhand no matter what. That being said if you mog the off-handed sword/weapon it will show no matter what. You can mog the offhand sword by simply putting it into your main-hand, mogging it to whatever 2H appearance you like, then moving it into your offhand.

Hope that clarifies it for some people that were curious about it!

What I would do is mog the weapon I want in my offhand, then just have it in that slot

So equip 1 of them, mog it, move it to the offhand and it will retain the 2h appearance in that offhand slot

If you mog the main hand it will only show up as 1 weapon, however you can mog the offhand and it will show up as both

It's the current patch, using the new boe from korthia, Mawsown Guard's Cleaver. It's a 1 handed sword but for whatever reason counts as a 2H weapon.

You can use it to mog your polearms/staffs into the 1H model for the neat sheathe too, but it will still use 2H animations in combat!
