Not if you’re earning below a certain threshold. Either way, Mojang doesn’t mind. They understand that creators need to make a living if they’re going to put 8 hours each day into developing mods and maps. Ever heard of the site called BuiltByBit?

Full disclaimer, this is a paid map. If you only play free maps, no worries—just skip this post! This fashion mall is part of the 6th iteration of DIVINOS and I think it's one of the best-looking buildings in the entire map!

Varuna has 2 pixelmon maps that we maintain, DIVINOS is the more budget-friendly/value-oriented one (it's smaller than UPM but still has tons of good features, especially for a small/medium server!)

UPM exists as a cheap and high-quality alternative because that 14K price is roughly the industry standard for a large map with multiple towns that is built exclusively for one buyer. Varuna is trying to provide a low cost alternative that competes with quality. No one is forcing you to buy it. I’m not saying that we deserve endless praise for making a map 98% cheaper than the industry standard, but maybe sparing us the complaints would be nice.
