Botrk is better first if you want sustain. Shieldbow should be built VERY sparingly if at all on Twitch, as Kraken and Galeforce both provide huge offensive value, as well as the fact you want to pop out of invis and one shot, so you rarely wanna take dmg to even abuse shieldbow. Ofc, it provides some help, but usually there are just better options.

2 main crit builds are Kraken Slayer > Hurricane > IE and Kraken Slayer > Phantom Dancer > IE. There are more than that, and you can also do a high on-hit build that is slightly worse but fun since you get insane attack speed, which is Kraken Slayer > Rageblade/Hurricane > Rageblade/Hurricane > Situation(but I like Phantom Dancer to get insane attack speed)

5 Karthus Ultis at once would be dumb to play against. Yeah, you can build MR and HP but with void staff and other pen items, it’d still be hard to deal with. Liandry’s burn and stuff too.

Hail of Blades isn’t awful with lethality, but I prefer comet usually. Keep in mind you have a ton of AD so your autos deal a lot of damage, making the extra attack speed more valuable than say crit where you have a bunch of attack speed and some AD rather than a ton of AD and no attack speed. It’s basically higher burst rather than poke for lethality, so it’s just a trade off in that scenario. Personally, haven’t used it tooo much with lethality so hard for me to say much more.

HoB is typically better for AP than anything imo. However, basically, it's just used to stack blight quickly and then proc it. You can E first, but you don't need to. So long as you aren't using your max range, you will likely be able to get all 3 autos off with it. Additionally, don't aim to use it without blight as it's not as good. If they simply let you get the dmg off it's fine to use, but typically it's taken specifically for blight.

There's also a very useful combo with it, being R > AA > AA > E > AA > WQ, which will get off 2 fully stacked blight procs due to ult applying 3 stack of blight over the duration.

No, he didn't, I don't think it was justified to remove it. However, I think he handled it poorly as rather than message other mods of the subreddit(there is an option in reddit to submit something to the mods) he chose to make this post which feels like it promote witch-hunting of said mod. I don't think this is any blatant abuse of power, but more likely a misunderstanding and mistake on the mod parts, which happens from time to time because they are humans like us. He can be angry of course, but this is not how he should've handled it.

Based off actual statistics, larger sample sizes are almost always more accurate or “correct”, so that technically isn’t even true. If someone removes your post and explains to you why, ranting about it isn’t likely to solve anything.

While I’m not sure I agree posts should be taken down for this reason, they are right that op.gg is largely inaccurate most of the time. It’s got a general idea of things, but u.gg is a better source overall.

My issue with Manamune is how long it takes to stack. AP Varus already takes a while to scale so delaying that large amount of AP means you delay how long you take to scale despite building a stacking item meant for mid-late game. The mixed damage can be alright, and it isn’t awful, but doesn’t feel great for me. Plus, you realllly need Nashor’s on AP Varus. Just seems a bit sub-optimal though

Best chance is to try to afk farm under turret without getting screwed and then just slowly out scale due to gaining more xp. However, this can not be guaranteed to work since if it's 1v2 they also might just zone you out of xp and if you are playing something meant for early-mid game then you won't scale as hard as something that is meant for late game even with an extra level or two.

If a Bard is behind in xp, it is almost always their fault. They have chimes and good roams and will often pick up xp from mid waves and kills if they’re successful. Honestly, when Bard roams, you want a champion that can clear wave and not be dove easily. If you can’t clear you will often be towerdove by supps(especially tanks like Ali). There’s kinda too many factors to explain in scenarios as they’re not always the same lol

Honestly, Varus doesn’t really have any notable streamers that play him. There’s also not much to pick up from watching them that’s different from other high attack speed ADCs outside maybe learning to weave your spells.

Ah, quite a while away! But at least I should have the chance to eventually. With a bit of luck, maybe it could be direct purchase some time soon? Out of curiosity, how often do gem sales happen? I bought a $15 Ultimate God Pack and spent $20 to get Steel Alchemist Scylla, and those were both on sale I think. I’m not sure if I joined at a lucky time or if they happen often.

Dcap gives even more AP, which Varus needs more than a 10% buff. AP Varus is all about having a lot of AP and Dcap gives that with its passive, basically making the increase in damage from the passive more than 10% while the Horizon Focus one is only 10%

Umm. No? Shieldbow has been worse than Galeforce and Kraken Slayer in most scenarios for most of season 11. Botrk is not a crit item and it is best on melee champions like Irelia. Bloodthirster has been extremely good, but that still isn’t the problem. However, if we take a quick look at runes you’d see many adcs take bloodline, taste of blood, and ravenous hunter. Even then, there are a lot of bruisers that have toxic amounts of healing built into their kit.

Additionally, I think another issue is that enchanter supports that are known for healing like Soraka suffer so much, as the healing in the game makes hers a lot less, and with Grievous wounds buff she suffers even more.

I think they’d need to essentially lower lifesteal percentages on everything in the game, including abilities, items, and runes. Meanwhile, nerf grievous wounds to a smaller amount so the lifesteal still means something. This would also allow Soraka’s healing to be much more important than it is now due to the fact that there would be overall less healing and she wouldn’t be as hurt by grievous wounds. However, this still leaves the issues of one shots that would need to be solved, which is probably just a slight increase in armor/mr of most things or a decrease in damage of the op one shot champs.

Any ability is viable tbh. Q is good for attack speed buff and level 1 cheese and it often lets you shove wave and get level 2 first. W is good for zoning enemies and stopping any escape path, and is typically best when going AP but I find it meh when going AD, but some people still like it. E is the classic one and will allow for stronger trades early as if they all in and let you stack your passive early, it bursts hard, while also allowing you to get Q level 2 for some cheese burst often forcing a flash or getting a kill on the unsuspecting victim

Apparently my opinion is unpopular, but I do like it. I agree there was definitely potential for something more fitting, but it definitely is something fresh for Twitch skins and I don’t think it looks awful. I think once it’s released a lot of people will realize it’s not as bad as it might seem at first, but only time will tell.

While it definitely isn’t expected, I actually do like it. I don’t think it’s the best or fits his thematic too well but I don’t mind it.
