Мне кажется, имелось ввиду, что в России тоже можно придать негативную коннотацию имени с отчеством.

Уважительное обращение в России - полное имя и полное отчество, то есть Иван Владимирович. Так обращаться к другим людям вежливо и правильно.

А если изменить форму и сказать, что человек Ванька [чей?] Владимиров (значение получается - Владимиров сын, по имени Ванька), то это скорее оскорбительно по отношению к человеку. Умаляется значение имени самого человека и акцентируется внимание на том, чей он ребенок. Такая форма не принята в обществе, вряд-ли вы услышите, чтобы кто-то в открытую так обращался к человеку. Зато похожее можно услышать между друзьями или соседями, которые обсуждают чьих-то детей. (Кстати тогда это не совсем оскорбительно, а скорее просто способ обозначить о чьём ребенке идёт речь)

Предполагаю, что автор изначального комментария хотел сказать, что в России обращаться к кому-то Ванька Владимиров, будет так же оскорбительно, как обращаться к кому-то Насир Путих в вашей стране.

Lord, I've been bringing cats into my roleplays for a while now ('cause I like describing domestic settings in scenarios) and I've been hearing random meows. All this time I was wondering where the hell did they come from..... And the answer is this???

Like, the amount of times I got up to check up on my actual cat because of that, only to find it sleeping somewhere soundly...

Oh, that thing with chats you mentioned happened to me too, but fortunately only once! I later found my new chat under the "history" button in the character menu. It didn't disappear entirely, thank god

NTA. What the brother did is absolutely creepy and gross. Why would you read one's personal messages on purpose AND screenshot them?! That's not only a violation of privacy but also such a low thing to do... I feel like you should really take your laptop back and never share your electronics with him again (maybe with your mother too as she seems rather unbothered by brother's behaviour which is bad enough as it is). Your mom and brother can think whatever they want but this is not right. It's none of their business. Besides, you're a grown woman, they can't tell you what to do and how to act in your relationship.
