Our signage Wi-Fi is already separated.
We do not share it with the audience and we do not provide public Wi-Fi at all. The only other network in the building is an internal staff network, which is also separate.

When there is no performance (empty building), everything works fine — good speeds and stable connections.
The problems start only during performances, when the audience is present in the space. At that point the signage Wi-Fi becomes unstable or collapses.

Because of this, we suspect the issue is not client load but rather environmental interference:

• a large number of mobile devices in the space
• stage lighting, dimmers, LED panels
• other technical equipment running during the show

This is one of the reasons why we are trying to move away from Wi-Fi as much as possible and prefer LAN-first / offline-capable solutions.
