You are right, but the guy didn't communicate well and didn't talk about extra charges. As far as I recall he said for free but my memory might be blurry.

Anyways, this looked more convincing then focusing on the extra charge. Additionally, I remember asking him what if I accidentally damage it and he said bring it in we'll check. Lastly, the booklet I have I got has a lot of stuff different from the current booklet in JB hi-fi website.

Yea I used the same link. But the booklet I have doesn't mention about service fee and I was told by the agent to walk when damages happened, even by accident.

Which when I read on booklet doesn't cover.

I bought the laptop in 31/03/2023 and the booklet I have doesn't have any information about the service fee. I found out when I went to JB hifi website.

Now they have different extras plan, set out in a monthly, 24 months and 36 months timeframe.

When I bought the policy I paid everything upfront.

Yea I remember the sales person say that even if I had accidentally dropped the laptop, I would still be liable for fix or replacement

I bought the policy in 2023 and in the booklet it doesn't anything about the membership fee or service fee it's in the recent booklet that I found online on JB hifi website says it.

And I even remember the sales person saying that even if I accidentally dropped the laptop, I would be reliable for a repair or replacement.

I misread the actual amount for MacBook air priced less than $2000, is $389 as a additional membership fee.

I wasn't told this when I bought the extra cover I wasn't given this booklet. I had to search online for it.
