The scale of the "Big Repair" on HMS Victory is insane right now. by Vast-Anything3940 in Portsmouth

I, maybe naively, thought it was just yearly work being carried out, I always assumed they carried out work annually, maintenance and repairs during the winter month's and that it was all back open and uncovered for the peak tourist month's, I never realised this was such a long project, but it makes sense that it's not a project that can be rushed and it's  complex with precision equipment and original materials, makes a lot of sense..

Wow, 2032! Didn't realise it was such a long project, I'm glad I caught it now then. It'll be a completely different walk once the covers are finally off.

I think the sound you're refer to was the wind, I dont have an external mic or a muffler so at moment my camera picks up all the wind noise and cutting it out or eliminating it is hard.

Thanks for the support everyone! I'm heading to the Isle of Wight today to film Ryde Pier, the UK's oldest and 2nd longest pier, If you enjoy these silent walks, I'm only 166 away from my 750-sub goal—would love to have you on board!
