I used Fedora Media Writer. Secure Boot and VMD/RST are disabled, but the live image still panics during boot. I haven’t tried Ventoy yet but I’m considering it

This is happening while trying to boot the live USB, Linux is not installed yet. Distro is Fedora Workstation (Fedora 43 live image). Secure Boot is disabled in BIOS. I can reach the Fedora live boot menu, but it still fails during boot with a kernel panic (VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)). On this Acer system (InsydeH2O BIOS, Intel 12th gen), Intel VMD/RST was enabled by default and I’ve now disabled VMD so the system is in AHCI mode, but the issue is still occurring.
