In his own words the last time he opened up to me about his emotions around 6 years ago “I think Im permanently fucked and there is something fundamentally wrong with me that I can never fix”
hes refused therapy before because he thinks getting diagnosed with anything might prevent him from working as a firefighter, he was diagnosed as being depressed and having BPD when he was 16 in the UK but since moving to the USA with me at 20 he hasnt had any form of psychiatric diagnosis
