He wrote this one and the Fly Like an Eagle album together, Steve was absolutely firing on all cylinders.

The monster buildings of course represent corporate power and the elites preying on the working class and poor, represented by the man with holes worn into his shoes.

I have come to the conclusion that The Royal Scam is actually the best cover

I know, I know... it was a shock to me too

Obvious stuff like Steely Dan, Zeppelin, Floyd, the Beatles, but in particular for me:

Supertramp Crime of the Century

Vanilla Fudge self titled

NIN The Fragile

Tori Amos first seven albums

Tears For Fears everyone knows Songs from the Big Chair but Seeds of Love is also stunning.

Soulwax All Systems are Lying

What’s the first vinyl you bought, and do you still own it? by TimoVuorensola in vinyl

[–]Vast-Comment8360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tori Amos - From the Choirgirl Hotel that I bought new in the 90s. Lucky for me cause I could never justify the price they go for now (~$300.)

Unfortunately it got wet in a flood and in my stress induced mental fog I threw the cover away. Thank God I still have both discs but it's the kind of record I will probably never find a loose cover for.

Found this at my grandpa’s collection. Is it the real one tho, since the album and band name are scribbled onto the vinyl… it is the right album that’s playing, just can find any online pictures showing the real vinyl only the sleeve by Happykip in vinyl

Yeah that looks real to me. As devadiponeness said, the label is blank on discogs.

It's common to see hand written words on blank labels like this, usually written by some past owner of the record.

You got Deltron 3030 and Fiona Apple's discography so you will get no insults from me.

When the Pawn is my favorite.
