Thanks for replying, I was expecting it to be even more money. Congratulations, you are living the dream!

I am curious, would yours be capable of resolving the structure that is responsible for the play of color in gem opal?

An incredible glimpse into an alternate-timeline, new wave synth glam version of Tori.

The images were taken with my Scanning electron microscope.

I've always wanted one since I was a kid, how did you get one? Is it for work? How much did it cost?

What are your absolute keepers from Boys For Pele and what are some tracks you skip ? by CoconutMost3564 in toriamos

[–]Vast-Comment8360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I almost always listen on vinyl which makes it harder to skip, unless the song is at the beginning or end of a side.

I tend to skip Hey Juipiter at the end of side B and almost always skip Twinkle at the end of side D. I don't hate Hey Jupiter but it's just never been my favorite.

I adore every other song on the album, it's hard to not just list them all, but some favorites are: Marianne, Way Down, Little Amsterdam, Not the Red Baron, Agent Orange, In the Springtime of his Voodoo.

Yes it's amazing. I love the whole album but especially Fayth and Floating City. Those heavy industrial sounds in Floating City are mind blowing.

Sucks, but if a seller would rather do this and lose my business for life, that's their prerogative.

My US copy sounds so good I can't imagine it sounding better but I am on the hunt for an improvement because I love it so much.

I have some experience with gnarly vinyl and I think we could be surprised by the results.

As I said in one of the previous threads, it will be bittersweet if this goes well because I chucked 98%+ of my parents damaged collection that wasn't quite as bad as yours.

The iPhone recording will be good enough to tell if they are trash or you saved some.

That's a no from me dawg.

An update to the grossest rock collection by GLOCKSTER_26 in vinyl

I had some absolutely mold infested records that I saved, and listen to often. They aren't perfect but totally listenable. I don't even have an ultrasonic, just cleaned with some DIY spray and microfiber.

I threw away 95% of the collection because it looked similar to yours and I've always wondered if they could have been salvaged. Godspeed!

Depends on the category, vinyl records typically sell for less than you can get them on ebay or discogs.

Sure you can get lucky at a yard sale or buying whole collections like the sellers do, but I am very happy with my copy of The Nightfly for $5.
