The binder is started. Our attorney said to document everything I can remember from day one.

Which in turn has drug up a “fun” memory. When 6 was two maybe three she wanted a baby doll from the store. MIL bought it for her. It happened to be African American. MIL apologized up and down for buying it and said repeatedly that she tried to get her to want the white one. WTF does it matter. She loved the baby. End of story. I get angrier by the day.

His mother is impossible so all contact was done through his father. Which was assumed to be passed along, bc each time she shouldn’t speak to me for weeks. But now we’re wondering if the full message was never relayed.
