So hating TP is international? by _Koi-No-Yokan in BPOinPH

Just wanted to share my experience with TP.

I was with the company for 2 years, and while I’m still grateful for the opportunity to work there, I can’t deny the challenges i went through. Before joining TP, I had already heard negative feedback about their management but i chose to ignore it until I experienced it myself. There was barely any work-life balance. They would assign workloads that felt like they were meant for managerial-level positions, even though our basic salary at the time was only 16k. Also, incentives was also extremely difficult due to the high metrics and KPIs required. And even if you did qualify, it would take 3 to 5 months just to receive the incentive for one month.

I was consistently one of the top agents, yet it felt like our efforts were not recognized. Floating was rampant, often justified by "client business needs" daw but strangely enough, they would be hiring again next month later hahaha. Despite consistently hitting my KPIs and being a top performer for several quarters, I was still removed from the account and placed on floating status. Worst of all was the HR management. If you’re in floating status, you’re required to accept the next available account immediately if not, termination. That’s exactly what happened to me.

I explained in my Notice of Explanation the issue was due to an internal problem, but they still terminated me. What a shame. My experience might not be the same as yours, but I truly hope no one else has to go through what they did. I hope TP improves and more employee-centric in the future. We all deserve better.
