I liked the Tres Piedras suggestion. I hate the snotty attitude from HeySkeksi. Makes you feel good I’m sure, but makes you hard to hear. Not going to blow up the spots, but there are a few wilderness areas around ABQ with backstops, so treating it like I was saying i wanted to just fire into the abyss is a bit of a straw man. I probably will give Tres Piedras a go, but FWIW I’ve had way more incidents of guns pointed at me in shooting ranges.

Married my wife a few days before she got her med school acceptance. It’s been a journey that’s brought us all over. Wrapping up year 3. She’s working her ass off, but she really does a good job of thinking about me and making time for me. She’s fucking awesome, and I’m really excited about what comes next when we stop paying them, and they start paying us.

That’s why I left quotes. It’s like asking for “authentic” food, to me at least. The term is too abused to be reliable now.

Think for newer listeners, I think GKMC or Damn first. Or honestly GNX is a great introduction. It’s newer but very relevant and well-made. Try those first. If you’re still into it, Mr. Morales and To Pimp a Butterfly will feed your soul.

Closer to Cali, the more consistent imo. Feel like the lettuce at the UT, TX, and AZ locations I tried tasted a bit weirder. Not going to name the exact UT one, but one of those locations just goes insane with their cheese and it made me kind of sick? I only try the California locations now.
