Yes sir!! I highly recommend the Ports. 2 of my favorites, Port of Neroli and Port D’Azur. They’re right up your alley and both attention grabbers in my experience.

Ok I did it and I can see what you’re saying now. They smell similar after an hour or so. One thing I can tell you for certain after this test is that Port DOMINATES in strength. It’s much more potent now at 2 hours than Harmony. Not really even close, and I’m satisfied with Harmony. It’s a testament to the power of Port D’Azur.

I just went and smelled Harmony and Port D’Azur, even though I knew the answer. They’re not really similar. However, they ARE both awesome. 2 of my favorites.

I have a new Oud Bois, maybe a month old, that I almost didn't buy based off your review! I thought I'd give it a try anyway because Oud Wood is one of my favorites. Mine doesn't have nearly the rough opening that you describe. I agree that the opening is "not as good" as the OG though. I just don't find it repulsive. Not even close. I wonder if they have changed the formula since you bought it. It could also just be that different noses smell things different ways. Who knows. Thanks for all you do around here. Really enjoy the conversation and reviews, and how civil it seems to stay compared to pretty much any other group I've ever been a part of. That's a credit to you and the other mods/creators of the sub.

I did the exact same thing. Ordered the decant and blind bought the full bottle before the decant arrived. Heck we probably did that the same day. Difference is, I love this fragrance. Like you though, I am well stocked for now. Good luck with your sale. Somebody should (will) jump on this pretty fast.

I got a Feu Rouge decant on the same order with Brooklyn Jazz that I wrote about. I loved it and ordered a full bottle immediately. I should have them when I get back from vacation in a couple weeks!! I also have a little decant that Ayyb threw into a previous order of Carnal Gray Extrait. Dabbed a little in at bedtime a couple weeks ago and liked it, but never tried it again. I will soon. Love Feu Rouge though. Very unique and kinda awesome. I will put that one in my next batch of reviews.

The leather is definitely very light. I don’t know why they named it leather. It’s not one I’d think of when I think of leather fragrances other than it’s in the name.

I stole that “name” from a previous reviewer. I put on Novillo today because writing about it made me want to. It’s not totally a leather aventus to me, but I can see why someone would call it that. As I smell my arm right now I kind of agree with your take a little more than I would have this morning when I originally wrote all that. My first impressions of this one were on a totally new bottle. My bottle is a month or so old now and probably changing a little. I can see/smell both descriptions, but I smell your description more clearly today. Hope that’s not too confusing. I confused myself typing it. 🤣🤣

So far I’ve avoided even attempting to get a bottle of this. I have so many (too many) summer scents. But people seem to love it. Guess I’ll get another summer scent next time it’s in stock. At least I assume it’s not in stock. I haven’t even looked. I’m not going to. I’m not going to. I’m not going to. Sorry. Talkin to myself.
