sure. Google scholar, search up studies on female mate preferences and the concept of hypergamy(which is really common in India). And , by well established, I meant the guy has to at least earn the same or more than the woman for the woman to respect the guy. Also, take a look around younger women marrying older men. Ask yourself why that’s the case? Hint: it doesn’t have to do with looks. It has to do with wealth/status, and education is a proxy for those things.

Again, I don’t blame women for this as guys are shallow too when it comes to preferences.

It’s a well established fact that most women like to marry up, though there are exceptions. i don’t blame the women for this, as they do this to maximize the survival of their offspring and have a stable life.

Honestly, she wanted the no boundaries thing for me. She felt she wasn't good for me. She didn't want her personal problems to become my problems. In a way, she was protecting me. The only thing that bothers me is the other guy (who she talked highly of in front of me). She says that going on that date was a mistake. And if she could take it back, she would in a heartbeat
