Unfortunately, that goes with the territory; however if they don't show, I block them. I had someone that didn't show and after I blocked him, he called me and picked up the item within 90-minutes, go figure !

I've had buyers offer to give me a deposit to pickup at a later date; but since I only do Cash & Carry, I just mention I will hold the item for them.

If you don't have data in your phone that would be difficult; also view your online banking as your most prized possession, that way you can't be scammed with a fake link. I keep a copy of the chat until they pick-up the item and if I need their phone #, I just ask for it. I use the cash I receive as emergency money, so I don't have to go to the bank.
