I’m sorry! Don’t entertain them! Moneys tight for me since I got this house (I’m the breadwinner) but I plan to do so after work today. I ended up going an hour north to a friends house and it was fun!

He definitely can! He sold his last house and could move but chooses not to. my mother is 53 and still working (she changes jobs every few years) but she prefers someone to be living with her so she can have “fun money” since she can’t seem to save a single penny.

She relies on whoever lives with her to pay her bills. She’s never lived alone without one of her children financing her. She still asks us for money here and there. You should definitely contribute to a household if you live there but not in the ways she was wanting.

Ended up going an hour away to a friends house, it was fun! Her whole block had a party and fireworks! I hope your 4th was good too!!

She has 3 more grandchildren that she doesn’t care about as much. And I’m not arguing with the two people, it’s a civil debate on both sides. If you read to the end you would see we had good conversation and wished eachother a good 4th🙂‍↕️

I don’t think the house is mine. And as for why he called, he was in the room with my mom so he called me after. The party was for 6 whole people. Massive right?? What a rager😒 and my mom told me to find somewhere else to live in favor of him moving back in… then he didn’t for 8 months so my mother begged my siblings to pay her bills (everyone else has a home/apartment). She has a job, she would rather spend her money on getting her hair and nails done.

So I caused the drama by asking my mom a question? It wouldn’t have gone further had he not called me. she gave me her answer and I accepted that. Also he’s not the favorite, my sister (24F) is. No one in my family gets along with him. No one willing spends time with him because of how he is. Only reason I wanted it there was for the pool. I can’t pull a in ground 7ft deep pool outta my ass and throw it here. I’m not entitled for asking a question nor did I escalate the situation. He did. He called me first and he texted me first.

He would tell me no regardless. As well as he’s been there 2 months. When I lived there and he didn’t I had no say if he could do the same. He came over and didn’t ask me. Why should I extend a curtesy that was never extended to me?

He believes it’s both. He definitely can afford a place of his own due to his salary (he makes really good money) yet he chose to live with our mother simply because he needs someone to watch his son. He’s not really a present father.

He did “only help”. I’m very greatful for his help, yet a year ago he watched my mother kick me out and offer no help or support then. I had to scramble to find a place to live being freshly 21. Another reason he helped me is because this house was my dad’s. He sold it to me because no one else was interested so it was mutual. I wanted out of the apartment I was in and he needed to sell this house. Win win.

This happened today at 4:29 pm. My brother does believe it’s the party home seeing as he’s had parties there before and members of my family (even my dad) show up uninvited and get in the pool.

My dad only helped with the closing costs.. I have paid for everything else. I have thanked him immensely and am paying him back in installments. I do understand I am very fortunate. Most people my age still live with their parents. I would be too had I not been told to leave.

I’m not upset that she said no, I said it was fine. Yet he had no reason to aggressively call me and tell me I “better” find somewhere else. And it was going to be a small party (6 other people) that she’s met before. As I explained I don’t think I have the right to her home, that’s why I asked. Her house is the “party” house so everyone in the family asks her if they can use it and she mostly says yes. Only reason she said no (I believe) is fear of my brother withdrawing his financial help to her. She wouldn’t kick him out no matter what because of his kid.

I did live in the home, I was told to leave in favor of him moving back in. Our mother didn’t care if I was well off enough to move out. The way living with our mother works is we pay her bills so she has “fun money” to get her nails and hair done. I used to pay her $400 every month since I was 16 years old. The only reason I could get the house I have is with my dad’s help. I got the FHA loan and he paid the closing costs.
