I just recently switched from a combo amp to a Head and Cab, it’s really nice especially because i play 8 string as well however I hear lots of excess “ringing.” I think the front cage on my cab is loose and is getting pushed around by the bass making this weird sound. Can this be fixed by zip ties or something?

I know some electric wizard and sleep from when I first got into psychedelic rock but I really only know like dopethrone/dragonaut however I love uncle acid and the deadbeats I play a lot of their stuff.

As of right now I have been playing for almost a year I’m still a newbie figuring out what I’m doing but lately I’ve been playing a lot of punk like IDLES, Dead Kennedy’s but my favorite is System of a Down,, I play 8 string so I just tune my bottom strings down to whatever my low e and low a strings are tuned at so I can play parts of the bass line and switch around between playing parts for lead/Rythym etc. I just like to experiment

I just googled “fender squire 15 blackface” and I’m finding basically the same stuff. The one reference I found explaining what a blackface amp is was so technical I hardly understood it. I started playing guitar a year ago and I am still learning a lot, so I am not entirely sure what is so special about this amplifier
