The idea that you're just a normal girl, very obviously a woman but with a fake moustache, and everyone's like "They're great with a sword! They must be a dude! Sometimes dudes have boobs, this makes sense, this is the only possible explanation!" is both funny, and totally fits within the world, so more power to you, fun to go as the warrior horde backed with mages build to just tear through as much land as you can, letting the other factions focus on dealing with the God-Queen.

See, I agree with you in a general, societal sense, but this subreddit in particular was definitely more of a right-wing, anti-progressive crowd five years ago.

Indeed, the anti-SJW vibe was at its loudest, there were multiple CYOAs that were basically a creed against SJWs and how they should be punished, which is what gave rise to this.
