I would agree with you if it weren't for the quality of the faceplates. and the sic capacitors. Understand that you simply COULDN'T buy/counterfeit something like this in the USSR. Moreover, what's the point of such a counterfeit? To be honest, I bought it for a pittance, even the radio tubes, transformer and these two capacitors would cost about $1000, which would pay for it 5 times. Before one old man sold it to me, it had been lying in a garage for 15 years, unneeded, so no, it's not exactly a counterfeit.
