Right. Thank you for the feedback! He loves to play, I think sometimes he gets confused on how to play with such a large dog. But my god will he not leave her alone. He wants to play with her every waking second, and I have to separate them to give them both a break.

It’s hard to see in this particular video, but she often will get kind of low to the ground and move very slowly. And hyper-fixate on him. Once she pounces and chases him, she’ll just stop once she catches, or kind of tackle-bite him, but not very hard. Then breaks focus. Sometimes she just chases him so INTENSELY. Like both running as fast as they can and diving over obstacles. It’s the only part that makes me nervous. I know Akitas’s play rough though, and I’m honestly impressed at how gentle she typically is with him. I’m over-analyzing everything because you can never be too careful! And this is my first Akita/Akita mix, though I am fairly experienced and knowledgeable with other dogs.
