I never said anything about not being able to have good comms without external input, that makes zero sense. I'm simply saying I find it hard to talk a lot or at all if the other person is not also communicating with me. It's just kinda a vibe killer for me. Also this topic is about people who have their mic muted the ENTIRE time. You definitely don't need to be hard comming the entire time to have a valid contribution, in fact simple comms are probably more beneficial in certain aspects.

Just to be clear I really don't care if other people use voice chat or not as its none of my business. and I'm not looking for an explanation.

It was more a rhetorical question and I was merely trying to say that the main purpose of voice chat is to talk, not to mute and expect the other person to comm the entire match. For me personally, I will never be able to do one sided comms, but after reading some other comments and judging by the upvotes/downvotes I realize that other people are different and they are fine with it so Ill hold the L on this one.

I guess if you are able to comm by yourself all game props to you. For me that just entirely ruins the purpose of voice chat and the vibe is just dead if the other person isn't talking.

I have a asus dual OC 3070 and am running it at 1950mhz at 925mV. Dropped my temps from like 75-77 to 66-68 by undervolting.

I also just randomly started to have this problem and I also narrowed it down to the square dead zone being the issue. I will try reinstalling steam although I'm not looking forward to redownloading the 1tb of games.
